We have just finished finding out about ‘Birds and Bugs’ for our World Around Us topic. We made bug hotels from old tin cans, twigs, leaves and things from our school garden. We went on a mini-beast hunt using the BeeBot and made our own little books about the life cycle of a butterfly. We made bird feeders from used drinks cartons, painted colourful parrots and made clay owls. We also set up a Garden Centre as both birds and bugs love plants.
