Some pictures from our recent Maths Day. P5 were very creative and came to school with fantastic maths inspired dress. We had a great day solving problems and enjoying all things maths.
We worked in teams to solve a shape puzzle - it was lots of fun! We were given an envelope of mixed up pieces of paper. We had to work together to form 5 squares… but… we weren’t allowed to speak to each other. Excellent team work meant all groups were able to solve this puzzle!
We enjoyed working on problem solving tasks throughout the day and had a lot of fun playing mental maths games against each other on Mathletics.
A super day filled with all things numeracy, AND to top it off we even made some pizzas - check out our fraction pizzas!
