Our topic for this term is Mighty Me! We have been learning all about our bodies - how we are all different on the outside but the same on the inside. We have had great fun drawing around our classmates, placing bones to form the skeleton, and naming body parts. Some of us have been looking at the heart and how it pumps blood right down to our toes! Did you know that we can actually feel our heart beat if we run really fast around the playground? Primary 4 have also had a go at painting self portraits! Unfortunately noses are particularly tricky to get correct! We will also look at how important healthy eating is for our bodies and how much sleep we actually need. Primary 4 will be exploring other areas of ‘Mighty Me’ through many different practical activities, written work and craft ideas.
